The Past 6 months

      It has been an interesting past 6 months here in KC. Yes, it has already been 6 months since we moved to Kansas City, Missouri in order to begin working with Lamplighter Ministries and get training at the International House of Prayer on missions work.We have grown so much in this time as a family, a couple and the kids have grown so much both physically and in maturity (at least as much as toddlers can : ] ). FYI Anna has broken through the whole "nightmare stage" she had been going through and is doing great. In fact she has learned how to quietly move down the hall to our room now, instead of running and screaming. Which is quite funny when I wake up and shes standing there by the side of the bed just peacefully looking at me : )

      It has been awesome being able to spend time in the Global Prayer Room (GPR) where there is worship and prayer going on constantly 24/7 (you can see it live at http://www.ihop.org/). We have been so blessed being able to go into an environment where Jesus is constantly being worshipped and joining in to bless Him with our praise as a family. Anna loves walking in the prayer room with me, worshipping Jesus in her small lanague and lifting her hands. She can't sit still so it is so awesoem we have the option of pacing. : )
    
      Being able to learn from some amazing Bible teachers (Mike Bickle, Allen Hood, Stuart Greaves, and Daniel Lim just to name a few), both on Sunday and in a classroom setting, has been amazing. We have learned so much in such a short amount of time. Their dedication to studying and teaching the whole Bible is so refreshing. There are so many resources to draw from here. Whether its teaching's and book's to cd's and art. Their Children's Equipping Center (CEC) is one of the best kids ministries I have ever seen. Anna loves going on Sunday mornings and learning about Jesus with other kids her age. They have a variety of ministries for members that include working with the homeless, working with kids, evangilism out reaches , eveanglising to Muslims, helping out in the community, helping make adoptions possible and so much more.

     We have had a great time here. Somtimes it hits us that we arn't just around the cxorner from our fanilies anymore and we miss them alot. But we have had so many people step up and help us out with so many needs that have arisen and God has been so good to us during our time here.
