“LORD, make me to know my end,
And what is the measure of my days,
That I may know how frail I am.
Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths,
And my age is as nothing before You;
Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor.
Surely every man walks about like a shadow;
Surely they busy themselves in vain;
He heaps up riches,
And does not know who will gather them. "
~Psalm 39:4-6
Oh how this verse has been TOO lived out lately.
We feel like we smell death everywhere..
There has been car accidents, too many that have touched us.They have taken young lives, and to our friends and family we have no idea what to say, just listen, because they have heard it ALL already. But this verse, can speak all of our thoughts lately.
Just pray for these families, who will remain nameless on this, but there is a funeral today and two tomorrow. (What are the chances that there are TWO car wrecks that deal with people we love dearly, on the same day!?)
We know that there will be an amazing testimony that comes out of this. There already is one.We are praying for it to come forth.
